StaffSteady is a web-based staff scheduling and HR tool for teams that work on a roster (or rota, as it is called in the UK). Managers build the week's roster with AI-suggested cover, staff swap shifts and book holidays from their phone, and the paperwork lives in the same place: employee records, contracts signed in-app, the staff handbook, training certificates and clock-in. It is built by Tenzing Digital, an AI and product studio in Ireland.

Any business in Ireland or the UK with staff who need shift schedules, holiday and sick-day management, or employment contracts: pubs, restaurants and cafes, shops, pharmacies, clinics and care settings. It works for one site or a whole group.

StaffSteady is €149 + VAT a month for your first venue and €99 + VAT a month for each extra venue, so three venues are €347 + VAT a month. Every feature is included and there is no charge per employee, so adding a seasonal team member does not change the bill. A single venue can start a 14-day free trial with no card; a group books a demo and we set up each venue. Set-up help is optional at €499 + VAT, once: StaffSteady is built to set up yourself, but we will help you get started if you would like a hand.

The rules are in the roster, not in a policy document. Breaks are worked out for every shift, the planner warns when someone is rostered without their daily or weekly rest, bank holidays are marked on the calendar, and sick days are counted for the year. The break, rest and bank holiday rules follow Irish law today. It warns rather than blocks, so the manager always has the final say.

Yes. Staff post a shift for anyone eligible to take, give one away, or swap with a named colleague, all from their phone. A swap between two people with equal weekly hours goes through instantly; anything else waits for a manager, or every swap can be set to need approval.

Yes. Upload your standard contract once and issue it to one person or a whole team. Each person's job title, pay, hours, start date and place of work are written into a statement of core terms inside the document, as the Terms of Employment (Information) Act requires. The employee signs on their phone by drawing or typing, the employer counter-signs, and a certificate of completion records the evidence. No third-party e-signature service is involved.

Sensitive fields such as PPS numbers and pay are encrypted at rest. Every view and change of an employee record is written to an audit log that cannot be edited or deleted. An employee can export everything held on them, and a record can be erased while the employment history you are legally required to keep is retained.

Yes. A group runs every venue from one login, staff can be rostered at more than one site, and shifts can be swapped between venues where both people are cleared to work there. Managers approve requests for any site in the company.

StaffSteady is an installable web app. Staff add it to their phone's home screen from the browser, with no app store download, and see their shifts, swaps, availability and time off there.
